DELL computers and APPLE computers have both issued recall notices for laptop computer batteries made for them by the Sony computer company.

LAPTOP COMPUTER BATTERIES

DELL computers and APPLE computers have both issued recall notices for laptop computer batteries made for them by the Sony computer company.

A defect in the manufacturing process can cause the battery packs to short circuit internally, leading to extreme heat and/or fire.

It is recommended that consumers stop using the battery immediately and return it to the supplier.
