Changes to the WorkCoverSA Scheme

In June 2008, the South Australian Parliament passed some significant legislative amendments to the WorkCover Scheme. The second round of changes began on 1 January 2009.

Rehabilitation and return to work coordinators

From 1 January 2009, employers who employ more than 30 workers are required to appoint and train rehabilitation and return to work coordinators.
